Clint joined Crescendo Ventures as a Kauffman Fellow in 2009 after spending 15 years as a serial entrepreneur. He focuses on seed-stage investments in technology-enabled services, educational technology, and companies that turn data into actionable information. He is the co-founder and co-president of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs, a Stanford University alumni organization helping to build and connect Stanford's entrepreneurial community. Clint is also a partner at Ulu Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund.

Prior to venture investing, Clint founded and led Outcome Software, DecisionStreet, The Decision Company, and Decision Quality International, all of which helped individuals or organizations make better decisions through software, consulting, or training. Clint regularly guest lectures at Stanford on entrepreneurship, decision-making, and ethics. He has taught ethical decision-making at both Stanford and Grinnell College, and co-authored Ethics for the Real World (Harvard Business Press 2008) with Stanford professor Ron Howard. Clint holds a PhD and MS degree from Stanford University in Engineering-Economic Systems with an emphasis in decision analysis and a BA with honors in mathematics from Grinnell College, where he currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees.
